Ariane Moreira de Souza is a versatile Brazilian actress, singer, songwriter, dancer and model. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Ariane has been living and working in Australia for nine years and is passionate about weaving her love of language, culture and journalism into the art she creates using her amazing empathy and exciting skills. Acting highlights include playing the lead in sci-fi horror film Parallax Error, and the lead role of Deborah in the dramatic play A Kind of Alaska, and also has done an ADR in English and in Portuguese for the feature film of David Michôd. She has appeared in many commercials (including McDonald's, Breville, St George Bank) and music videos. As a singer, Ariane can be found gigging around Sydney, writing songs, and is the lead singers of her band called Between Us, apart from doing gigs and private events. Her repertoire varies from her Brazilian origins, as she dives into pop, reggae, jazz, blues and rock. Ariane is also a skilled martial artist, and holds a black belt in Kung-Fu in Mantis style. She has won several International Championships in the USA. Ariane has an Advanced Diploma in Acting from Sydney Actors School, a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching (Australian College of Dance), a Bachelor of Journalism (Universidade Metodista de São Paulo), and a Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production (JMC Academy).

Since moving to Sydney, Ariane has performed as a professional singer and dancer and has done six TVCs for McDonald's,St. George Bank, Breville US, Mumm Champagne, Spread Freedom and Bulk Nutrients. While at Sydney Actors School Ariane starred in two short films made by her ensemble: Forever Yours (2019) and in Disturbance, (2020). While training she also had a roles in a few theatre productions including Animal Farm (Kevin Jackson), The Irresistible (Kim Hardwick) and for their final performance she was the lead role in A Kind of Alaska (Shane Anthony). During her training, Ariane became a confident producer, production designer and cinematographer, and she is very passionate about utilising these skills for upcoming projects. Now that she is represented by Duke Actos Management, Ariane cannot wait for what the future brings.
